Prohibited Messaging and Call Activities

Users shall not use CRM Messaging services (SMS, WhatsApp, or Calls) to send or facilitate:

1. Obscene or Harmful Content

  • Messages or calls that are abusive, harassing, hateful, or discriminatory.
  • Communications that promote violence, exploitation, or illegal activities.


2. Fraudulent or Deceptive Practices

  • Impersonation, phishing, scams, or attempts to collect sensitive information (e.g., financial or personal details).


3. Cold Outreach Without Consent

  • Sending SMS or WhatsApp messages or making calls without the recipient’s explicit consent.
  • All communications must include opt-out mechanisms where required by law.


4. Malware and Malicious Links

  • Sending links or attachments containing viruses, malware, or harmful software.


5. Restricted Content

  • Promotion, sale, or discussion of:
    • Drugs and related products: Cannabis, CBD, vape products, prescription medications.
    • Weapons and explosives: Firearms, ammunition, or explosives.
    • Alcohol or gambling: Including casino apps or online betting platforms.
    • Adult content or services: Including explicit or sexual content.
    • Hate speech or discrimination: Any communication promoting violence or hate.


6. Unethical Financial Services

  • High-risk financial services such as payday loans, cryptocurrency schemes, or misleading investment opportunities.
  • Debt collection or forgiveness services without proper regulatory compliance.


7. Deceptive Marketing Practices

  • Affiliate marketing, lead generation, or campaigns involving consumer data sharing without proper consent.
  • Deceptive or misleading advertising practices.


8. Illegal or Exploitative Schemes

  • Work-from-home scams, pyramid schemes, or other “get rich quick” opportunities.
  • Promotion of illegal activities or restricted materials.


Fair Use Guidelines for SMS, WhatsApp, and Calls

To ensure fair usage across SMS, WhatsApp, and Calls, the following guidelines apply:

  • Volume Limits: Bulk messaging or calling beyond reasonable business needs may be flagged for review.
  • Spam Prohibition: Repeated unsolicited messages or calls without recipient consent are strictly prohibited.
  • Quality Standards: Ensure accurate sender information and avoid sending incomplete or misleading messages.
  • Opt-Out Compliance: Always include a clear opt-out option in SMS or WhatsApp campaigns as required by law.


Consequences of Policy Violation

Failure to adhere to this policy may result in:

  • Temporary suspension of services.
  • Permanent termination of account access.
  • Additional charges for excessive or unauthorized usage.
